How does Lytmi TV backlight work?


1.Lytmi Neo Sync Box supports devices with an HDMI connection. The HDMI device must be plugged into the Neo sync box with an HDMI cable. Smart TV apps and their related

services are not supported as their signal doesn't pass through the Sync box to process via an HDMI cable.


2.Please download “Lytmi Home” app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Please note that you should allow access requests to your phone's Bluetooth, GPS and WIFI for the app to function properly as required by the App provider.


3.Please ensure that you are using the 2.4 GHz network Wi-Fi connection (Currently 5G is not supported, we are working on it). Most routers nowadays come with ""dual band"" WiFi. That means they have both 2.4G and 5G WiFi bands. If you are unsure, we advise searching for ""How to tell if I have 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi.

What video formats does the Lytmi sync box support?


Lytmi Neo Sync box supports HDM 2.0 up to 4K in 60 Hz and 1080 p in 120 Hz, Dolby Vision, and HDR10.

Can the Lytmi 2.0 passthrough Dolby Vision?


Lytmi Sync Box does support Dolby Vision and HDR 10.


Though there are several factors involved in seeing HDR, the most important is actually owning an HDR-capable TV. Virtually all HDR TVs are also 4K TVs, but 4K is not a requirement for HDR — the two technologies just happened to get popular at the same time, so they’re both being added to new models.

Beyond owning an HDR-capable TV, here are the other things you need to have:


1. You need a way to play HDR content on your TV to gain access to HDR content from an external device. Your TV needs at least one HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 (a copy protection technology that most streaming services require in order to pass 4K and HDR content to your TV).

Can the Lytmi 2.0 passthrough Dolby Atmos?


Lytmi Sync Box can support Dolby Atmos.


To get Dolby Atmos working at home, you'll need some combination of the following:


- You will need an Dolby Atmos capable streaming media device, like an Apple TV 4K, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV.

- A Dolby Atmos compatible sound system. It could be a Dolby Atmos soundbar or a full Dolby Atmos speaker setup capable of processing the Atmos sound data.

- A compatible AV receiver. Depending on your setup, you may not need an AV receiver but, if you are, it will need to support Dolby Atmos.

Why access to phone's Bluetooth, GPS and WIFI are required?


As required by the app service provider, these accesses are all needed for the app to function properly.

Which lightstrip size works for my TV?


The Lytmi Fantasy Essential TV Backlight can not be cut so the minimum TV size for the TV light strip to use is 55 inch or larger.


Here is the length of the sizes of light strips for your reference:


190 inch lightstrip for 55 to 60-inch TV

220 inch lightstrip for 65 to 70-inch TV

265 inch lightstrip for 75 to 80-inch TV

295 inch lightstrip for 85 to 90-inch TV

Can I cut the strip lights to any length I want?


1. The TV light strip in the fantasy kit can not be cut. 

2. The individual Lytmi LED Light Strip can be cut, but please note that it does not support extension function anymore if you cut the LED light strip.

How do I install the TV backlight ? Can I bend the strip lights?


Please note LED strip lights are attached to the back of your TV and not the front. Refer to the installation instruction on user manual. It is recommended to measure your TV before sticking on the strip lights and try to position all connection cables first before you install the box and lights.

How to control the Lytmi LED Light Strip?


You can control the LED light strip with the Lytmi Home app or physical button, or add it to an entertainment setup with a Sync box (sold separately) to unlock the sync mode of smart lighting feature.

How to control the Lytmi light bars?


You can control the brightness and color of the light bar, as well as customize its settings, with the Lytmi Home app. You can also add it to an entertainment setup with a Sync box (sold separately) to unlock the sync mode of smart lighting feature.

How to check if my lightstrip's direction is correct?


1.To install the light strips, turn the TV around so that the back of the TV is facing you. Please note LED strip lights are attached to the back of your TV and not the front. Refer to the installation instruction on user manual. It is recommended to measure your TV before sticking on the strip lights and try to position all connection cables first before you install the box and lights


2.Please download “Lytmi Home” app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Please note that you should allow access requests to your phone's Bluetooth, GPS and WIFI for the app to function properly as required by the App provider.


3.Enter Sync Box settings and click the icon, then select setup side to choose the correct side and it will dispay the color for you to check if it matches. You can correct the direction by going back to the previous setting if needed.

How do I connect multiple input devices into the Sync box?


The Neo sync box supports one HDMI device. If you want to use more than one HDMI source, you will need an HDMI Switch to connect your multiple input devices.

Why My LED lightstrip and light bars can not sync with TV?


While LED lightstrip and light bars can be controlled individually using the Lytmi Home app, it is required to have the Neo2 Sync box in the Lytmi fantasy kit in order to enable sync mode for them. 


Neo2 Sync box can send out signals of the input device to the light bars and LED light strips. 


Therefore we suggest you purchase the fantasy kit if you need the light bar and LED light strip to sync with the TV.

What is advised distance between the TV backlights and the wall?


The suggested distance between the TV back and the background wall is about 5-10 cm.

Are the lightstrips waterproof?


IP54 waterproof LED light strips come with non-waterproof control boxes and power adapters, designed for bathroom and indoor.It is not recommended to use the box and lights in humid environment.

What is the operating temperature of Lytmi TV strip lights?


The operating temperature of Lytmi TV strip lights is from 0°C to 40°C

What do I do if I lost my power adapter?


We do not sell power adapter separately at the moment. Please reach out to our customer support at support@lytmi.co for further assistance.

I lost my fixing clips, can I buy some from Lytmi?


We do not sell these components for now. But you could use 3M stickers for it. Similar clips can also be found on the market if needed.

3. Unplug NEO sync box, then re-power it after 3 seconds and try to connect again.

Why is Wi-Fi 2.4G required for the app to work?


Lytmi Home app is one of the IOT devices that requires you to use their app to set up the Wi-Fi connection for the device.

This is why many IOT devices state they are only compatible with 2.4 GHz networks or may prevent you from connecting them if your mobile is currently connected on 5 GHz.

How do I know if my Wi-Fi is 2.4G or 5G?


A wireless transmission at 2.4 GHz provides internet to a larger area but sacrifices the fast internet speed, while 5 GHz provides faster speeds but restricts itself to a smaller area


Most routers nowadays come with "dual band" WiFi. That means they have both 2.4G and 5G WiFi bands. Sometimes they are on the same SSID (SSID = network name), sometimes they have unique SSIDs, for example "YourWifi" and "YourWifi_5G".


If you have an Android phone, you can definitively confirm whether the network is 2.4G or 5G.

2. Go to Settings > Network & internet > WiFi > Select the network properties (tap the gear icon or menu icon). NOTE: Depending on your android version these steps might be different.

3. Read the frequency setting.


Using a Windows Computer


1. Connect to the WiFi network.

2. Open your networks panel from your taskbar (click the WiFi icon in the bottom right).

3. Click on properties for your connected network.

4. In the new window that opens, scroll all the way down to the properties section

5. Network Band will either say 2.4GHz or 5GHz

We suggest you to ask your friends for help. 


First, let your friends use the phone to turn on the hotspot, helping your device connect to the Internet.

As soon as the returned package is received back at our warehouse, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method in 2-4 business days.

The warranty on Lytmi's product is limited to the original consumer/purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.


The Lytmi team will verify the purchase within 24 hours after receiving your invoice and purchase proof and get back to you with resolution if it should be covered with official warranty.

The Lytmi team will verify the purchase within 24 hours after receiving your invoice and purchase proof and get back to you with resolution if it should be covered with official warranty.


If it is verified to be an unauthorized purchase, we will not provide warranty services.

Can I claim for warranty of gifted products?


According to the official warranty regulations of Lytmi, warranty services cannot be provided for an unauthorized purchase, please contact the seller on the invoice directly for after-sales service. 


The warranty on Lytmi's product is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

Can I purchase just the TV backlight strips or the Sync Box?

Why am I asked to contact the local post office?


Due to various reasons, you may be asked to contact the local carrier to ensure a successful delivery. 


Some regular reasons are: 


1. When delivery attempts are made, the recipient is not available.
